I did my first run with bagseed, led/cfl mix, 3 plants in a 3x3, fox farm trio, fox farm OF/ HF mix with perlite. I will END UP with 4 ozs dried and cured of good, sticky, crystally shit, in jars. Prolly 2 ozs of small buds and trim for butter fixings, which actually is where my interests are leaning now, smoking is unhealthy.
Point is, Im ready now to buy good genetics and I would prefer to use a better nute line. Or super soil. I did not over nute, prolly under. If I could double my yield in the 3x3 I would be very happy.
Would you multi grow successful fellas suggest one big plant? Multiples? Scrog?

ScrOG if you're the anal controlling type, four plants if you're not.
Get at least a 600W HPS for that space.
Hempy or coco. You should be pulling close to a pound.

excellent point, I dont want to over train, so non-anal. The 3 plants in the 3x3 i fimmed each once, vegged 5 weeks and let them grow. They stayed just about right height wise.I had another I fimmed and lst ed that i put in another tent, that one had some mold issues at the end, I left it too thick.

Lol "I'll lead you to the promise land" WOW I was really drunk last night I guess a 5th of 1738 to the face will do you like that lol....But anyway back to business I'll be starting a journal soon for all those who would like to follow along...Genetics:Barney's Farm Critical Kush....Lighting:Two 600w dimmable one mh one hps....Medium: Promix with 50% perlite 5 gallon pots for now....Currently about 52 days 12 inches tall from seed fim once..Will be transplanting into 10 gallon smart pots tomorrow and will begin flowering day after tomorrow.

Thanks and of course not...What I was saying previously was with one plant and 1 600 watt light you can, well I can easily pull a pound, with the right genetics of course.

Any recommendations with how long I should veg for to get about 6 or so ounces? It's my first grow and I'm just doing one plant to get the hang of it first. It's a 3x3 tent with a 600w HID, 3 gallon pot for the last transplant, hobbyist and expert bundle advanced nutes, 3 part base, finally bud factor x and bud ignitor. It's a critical + feminized seed, I was planning on having a 4 week long veg starting after the seedling gets 4 sets of leaves. Any thoughts?

So for all those still keep up with this thread, im going to try to pull 2 pounds. Im going to put 3 dwc's under a 8 foot scrog net that i made myself, im the diy kinda guy. im going to veg as long as it takes to completely fill this net, i have over it 2 600w's super hps (Dont know if super makes much of a difference but it sounds cooler) lol Im going with 18 gallon totes, i have a drain system for them i applied myself and i have a pump im going to use to pump water in. I have a total of 4 parabolic reflectors hanging but i only have a net for 2 of them, im just going to do a regular grow on the other side and compare results, so its a total of 2400 watts. I hope everything goes well.

Oh yeah the scrog net is aproximately 8 feet long and 4 and a half feet wide. just slightly wider than the hoods. I made it so because i know they'll catch good light from the two hoods in front of them, also im thinking of doing 2 hps and 2 mh just to keep a different spectrum in there. or maybe just hand a 400w mh right in between them. any thoughts?

Very clean and nice set up you have there. what strains? the girls look really healthy, no signs of nute burn or anything. let me know how it turns out.
