Growing an Autoflower and a Photo in the same tent

Hey everybody, I would like to grow a single northern lights photoperiod plant beside my autoflower. What could I do to make this work? The autoflower supposedly should finish within around 75 days. This would be in a 3x3x6foot tent. I was thinking just do 18/6 light cycle for both plants, do some lst on the northern lights, and begin flowering her as late as possible, hoping that NL won't grow too big!

Best bet is to finish the auto at 18/6 lighting schedule while the photo is in veg. Flip to 12/12 to flower the photo once you harvest the auto. If you don't finish the auto before flipping the photo to flower, the auto will be under 12/12 and probably not yield as much as it would at 18/6.

Just make sure you don’t have them both in dwc and the roots grow tangled together and one is done before the other like someone I know.
Set the lights for the photo plant 18-24 hours on and just ignore the auto.
Someone I know had both in the same tent and flipped to 12/12 right as the auto began showing preflowers and both plants are roughly the same maturity.

I'm doing this where I've staggered my grow. i have a few autos that are 6 weeks old now, and then i just started a couple of photos a week ago, so the the photos will veg while the autos finish under 20/4, then once i harvest the autos in 3-4 weeks I will switch over to 12/12 and flower the photos. This allows me to maximize my space and power usage.
