Growing Directly In The Ground Questions?

If I'm going to grow directly in the ground for 1 plant how much soil will do? 1 gallon 2 gallons...etc

What's in the ground now? I wouldn't put less than 5gal...probably closer to 10...depends alot on how big it's going to get..If the soil there is decent you could just add shit too it, literally..our other stuff..check out the organics or outdoor forum..they can help you out

It's not in the ground atm. I was just looking for some answers on how much soil I would need, so I guess I'll grow in a 3 gal pot. Thanks.
