I mix my own soil using a base of Super Soil; that is a product, not the cannabis super soil. For weed, I mix 2 Cu ft of SS, 1/2 cuft of coir and 1/2 cu ft perlite, 3 cups of lime, 2 cups of gypsum.
So roughly 3 ft^3 at a time. How long do you let it rest before using?

I've heard of people getting uneven results with Fox Farms products. Apparently the soil is made somewhat locally and you can get bugs and variation bag to bag. I fear bugs so I stay in hyrdo LOL
My experience with Happy Frog is that it worked great for 2 months. It then ran out of nutrient with a figurative clang. I salvaged the grow by feeding with Gen Hydro 3-part until the plants were done.

Thank god, could you imagine having it run out of different nutrients at different times and you were trying to figure out what was deficient? That would be hell for a new grower.

Easy store bought soil for beginners.
Seedings-FF happy frog
Veg-60-70% happy frog, 30-40% FF ocean forest.
Bloom 75-80% FF ocean forest 20-25% happy frog.
You can get by on just that learning in the beginning

What supplemental nutrient works for you?
I am using the FF Trio plus KelpMeKelpYou. I’m sure there are much better nutrients out there, but I figured the FF nutes should work well with the FF soil. So far so good I think. I am a rookie though! Here’s my girl at Week 4.
