growing in a greenhouse basics

I'm experimenting with growing for the second time, the first didn't work and my plant didn't germinate properly. I have just aquired an allotment with a greenhouse and would like to grow my own stuff, nothing on a big scale just two or three plants at a time to tide me over and give me something to do. I'm just wondering if anyone had any recommendations on what type of seeds i should invest in and any general tips for a starter? I've just a lot of the old articles and appricate what i've been able to learn from these.

I only have three grows in a greenhouse and tend to use it for a shelter more than a full time grow room. I have grown, NL and afghani totally in the greenhouse with pretty good success. Personally I would start with some decent seeds but I will not spend a fortune on seeds while I am experimenting. I guess I am just cheap. A good indica/sativa mix is good IMO for the greenhouse. I found the Northern Lights very easy grow and great smoke, it was my first totally in there. This year I have some mostly indica with some sativa growing but they are outside during the day and inside at night. Once again IMO http://www.sanniesshop.com/sannies-seeds-c-167.html this place gave great service had my seeds 5 days after order and at a very good price. I am not saying you can't get better genetics but for the price and trying new grows I believe it is a good starting place. The next advice I can give is stay organic in your grows, healthier plants and easier to solve problems if they develop during the grow. Good Luck and hope this helps a little.

so you think that northern lights would be okay to grow in a greenhouse full time in the uk mate?
It is late in the year now to start I think. They are going to go straight to flower. Your yield would be very low but after Dec 21 when the days start to lengthen again I think if should be a plant that is fairly easy to grow.
