growing in a plastic baby pool

1 problem. they virtually dont sell them anymore!!! now days its all the inflatable crap at walmart, target, sears, etc. i cant find a plastic baby pool in a store for the life of me. wtf.

Yeah you probably need to buy a plastic pond shell that would get buried to create a fish pond in your yard. The other option would be to fashion your own frame and layer it with 'pond plastic' stuff to create your own waterproof area.

its a great idea but i cant find one. what do you guys think about filling large plastic garbage bags with 5-7 gallons of good topsoil/potting soil and growing in that instead of buying pots? Cheap and effective in my mind. Just poke some1/4 inch holes in the bottom for drainage.

Yeah but u would have to use multiple for holding, do u want to plant them in the growund or as pots ?

in pots because the water level is about 4 inches under the soil. but i dont wanna buy pots. i dont see anything wrong with using garbage bags.

if you don't plan on moving it I don't see why a garbage bag wouldn't work. or you can get a cheap plastic storage bin for $2-3 lots of places
