Growing in a polytunnel

Ok so ive decided im going to build a polytunnel soon and start preparing for the summer.

Ive never used one before when growing and was wondering what everyones views are on it?

Is it better than a standard outdoor grow? Or just a waste of time and money?

Also does it contain the smell during flowering at all?

I have seen people grow in those long 4 ft tunnels if that is was you are talking about, they just kept tying the plants over. Anything that keeps the water out, will keep the water in as well. So you need ventilation to not get mold, you are not going to contain any smell. Open ends with sides rolled up works great for passive ventilation/coverage.

im using netting on the sides, not using electronic methods for venting.
not really sure of size, wider than 4 ft though.
need to find a strain that doesnt stink so bad?

Even with that set up, give plenty of room above the plants for air flow, there might be a tendency for stagnant spots up by the bigger buds. Just keep tying, or I have seen trellis netting spread between as well, usually 2 layers. But that makes it hard to get in to work on the plant. Those spring clamps at home depot are handy and only cost like a dollar too.
