hahaha that was just what I thought of when I read the thread title.
In my latest grow I used jiffy pellets for the first time and made the mistake of leaving the sprouts in the humidome for too long. I even had it uncovered, letting the plants grow like that for awhile. Well, that caused the initial taproot to dry out and die, killing one of the plants, but I think I may have ended up with stockier plants as a result. I experimented with a weak solution of takeroot when they were just seedlings because of a thread I had recently read, and one of my plants only grew one true set of leaves before it started branching. Not sure if it was because of the takeroot or its early growing conditions, but it was the weirdest thing watching it grow, because it looked like at one point it had stopped growing, and was just a mass of green right at the top of the plant, like a ball of leaves. Well, it started branching out immediately and it only ever grew that one set of leaves on the main stalk. It now has four true tops, and the center is still a cluster of leaves, and some of the branches are now branching. The best news? I found out tonight it was a female

She's now my top contendender for trying my hand at cloning.
