ok. i have a 5 gal bucket with my grow in it. its an outdoor grow and the seedlings are well established. its mixed bag grow. i have the woods i want to plant it in picked out but its isolated. due to its isolation and overpopulation of deer and people pushing the deer out of other woods we see about 5 to 10 every time i go out there. its rainy season now so im hoping just to go back there every ten days to check it. it rains almost daily so foot travel can be minimal with the exception of watering when its dry. what can i do to keep the deer and raccoons and oppossum away. mainly the deer

TRY THE WHOLE WORKS... go to a barber shop and ask them for some human hair or use your own and spread it all around... also get cat piss i hear this works... you need 20 lb test fishing line and create a wall ... its very easy to get creative... deer respond to whats going on around them.. so if they are weary of predators in your garden then anything unusual could throw them off and keep em out. but its all on how your local deer are... some are very easily spooked here in california on the western slope of the sierra nevadas as for the eastern slope you can feed deer out of your hand.

coyote urine granules work well just spread once a month or so and they shouldn't come around. This is what My grandmother uses to keep the deer away from her garden and new pine trees..

You know its funny you say that about the deer in California.I spend alot of time in the woods and the only time iv ever fed a deer by hand was at twin lakes on the eastern sierras. The mountains where I live they just hella run.

For my whole life ( backwoods Colorado ) My mom has had dad, brothers and I piss a perimeter around our gardens, and yes, human urine will work as well as any animal urine, and BONUS it's free. Between visits to your crop, collect your urine in bottles and when you are at your spot don't pour on ground, but on surrounding trees. Also, placing bars of deodorant soap on the ground around your plants. If it smells like human most animals aren't willing to risk that it isn't human.

Hang some ivory soap from a pantyhose on your tree. The rain helps keep the soap fresh. Deer aren't likely to pass through any perimeter wire at eye level either, they just don't like humans or boundaries. Hopefully in your area the vegetation is abundant enough to keep the deer from making hasty decisions. Deer also don't like the cayenne pepper soapy bug deterrents that many people use. Urine and hair are good too. IMO anything that is as cheap and easy as these methods is a minimum.

yeah i just wanted to gather a bunch of ideas and compile a good solution. it hurts when you go out and all your shits gone and you see where rodents been digging and stuff like that. i caught a coon red handed earlier this year

You need cotton balls or an old rag and some cologne, tear the rag into pieces and drench them in the perfume. Place your stinky cotton balls or rag pieces 28-35 inches off the ground, you can do this using trees and bushes. Spread them out around your grow creating a smelly barrier. Soap such as Irish Spring works well also. Dog hair or even spreading the contents of your vacuum bag will work wonders. Leave your scent everywhere when you go to your spot, pace around and bend a tree over on occasion. Deer notice everything and get used to scents as well as people so change up smells about every 6 weeks.
