Growing in grass

This yr. i'm growing in my friends backyard. I was going over grow sites that mentioned growing in grasslands requires very little preperation. Anyways, I was going to dig a 3x3x3 hole and add some Organic garden soil and some bonemeal.

But i'm short on cash this yr. and was wondering can I just dig my hole and just add bone meal? The only other nutrient is Alaska Fish Emulsion and some mycorrhizal fungi. I'm also going to LST through the whole vegitation. Can i still expect a pretty decent yield?

Thanks in advance. :peace:

dig your hole, and fill it with water, if it takes over a hour to drain there is not enough drainage.so you'll need to get something like sunshine mix, and mix in your bonemeal, and organic compost and backfill the hole..chicken manure is also good to carry a plant through veg and it's cheap...hope this helps.
