I used to live down their and every outdoor crop i had was amazing, plants anywhere between 6-12 feet and adverageing around an elbow each, sometimes more. You defiantly have to contend with the heat issue there but with diligent care and proper watering you can get awsome results, wayyyy better then any outdoor crop I've had here (Maine) and also in la you got to content with the law authorities, they'll come down hard on anyone cultivating, so be safe and stealthy!

a problem i had last year was root fungus. killed a 5ft female almost overnight. i agree with the security. don't be real obvious about what your doing and plant it in the garden along side your tomatoes and corn. IF you're going to do it, make yourself rules and strictly obey them. i just opened my last jar from last year (It's been in curing since October last year) and it's potent, but you HAVE to have a cool place for storage. when you have over 50 quart jars curing, it takes space to store it. then you have to vent the jars every so often ;)

anyone in louisiana using lights for indoor during the winter? if ya do, i have questions :)
