Growing indicas on the equator?

I would like to start a grow outdoor on the equator. The light is 12/12 all year round, usually I grow sativas and they do really well. I want to start growing indicas, I know the yield will be really small as they will flower as soon as the plant is mature, I'm fine with a small yield. The question is will they mould? There will be no rain but humidity will be above 85% through out flowering.

indica will only finish "potentially" faster than sativia. All plants start to stretch and flower when sexually matured and given time time and light to do so. (Outdoors most people don't get down to 12/12, so I'm going to treat your post like a light post for 12/12 lol)

Your indica plants will finish possibly faster than your sativia by a few weeks? but they generally start bidding the same times

indica will not yield less, if you're doing well with sativia you might even get better more dense bud. I thought you said auto when I first responded because autos are a smaller yield usually. And mould resistance is better lol

When it come s to indica or sativia for mould resistance; youbhave to look at the strain. Indica is just the other type of high, the shorter, faster "finishing"plants but all plants start when they are mature. Autos are the only ones you can get a harvest out of in 3-4 months with minimal effort and noblught changes.

I don't want to grow autos, I want to grow indicas. Indicas will flower straight away because the light is 12/12 here all year round. I'll only get a small yield but I'm fine with that. I just want to know if I'll have mould issues in a climate with no rain but high humidity 80% plus

They will still need to stretch Hun.

Sativia and indica; only about 4-6 weeks in finishing time for flower.

Both with start to flower when they are sexually mature. Indices do not flower sooner then sativia, they finish sooner and give more of a sleepy relaxed feel and usually produces denser buds

Hope this helps!

Yea they both start to flower around the fifth node, indicas will finish sooner and produce less, my question is will I have mould issues in a climate with no rain but high humidity?

Indica i find produced way more than my sativia plants; sativia bud tends to be airy and indicas are denser bud.

Look to my original post; I edited it.

Short answer, sativia or indica.. doesn't matter you have to look at the strain for a mould resistance plant. Indica is just a relaxing weed and sativia is a uppity weed. Both have mould resistance strains in their categories
