Growing indoors with the HomeBox S Need Help

Ok guys I got my HomeBox S from UPS today and I am now just waiting for some info before I buy my lighting system. Here the two options I was thinking about. Please, any advise would be great, especially from those that have used or use the HomeBox S. Oh and is the digital ballast included in the 2nd and 3rd choices a vast improvement over the regular ballast in my first choice?

This was my first consideration since it includes both bulbs, only it is not a digital ballast.

My second choice doesn't include the MH bulb but I am going to get one as well as the HPS bulb, this setup has a digital ballast.

My third choice is a cool tube and I would also get the MH bulb as well as the HPS bulb. This is also a digital ballast.

Hi,
I have a Homebox L and am using a 400w HPS with analogue ballast (had to the wiring myself).

I like the first option, as you have the option of both types of lights.

But if you need only one light the HPS will be much better than the MH.

I'm not using a cooled hood or cooltube. Just an aluminum reflector and some good ventilation in the room. But since you're going with the S a cooled hood pr cooltube will probably be more important to keep temps down.

I honestly don't know what the difference is between a digital and regular magnetic ballast, but I would imagine that the digital ones require little or no wiring on your part. Don't take my word for it though.

Thanks for your help, I still plan to purchase both bulbs regardless of sets but I just want a little more info.

Yes I know that, my friend is using a 400W with great results. I want to do the same and I would rather buy a good 400W HPS and digital ballast once and buy another bigger tent later.
