Why in this one do they say the faulty wiring could've caused the room to explode? IS there anything in a hydro setup that could go kaboom?

Do you think they found out about the grow cause of the fact the growers were leaching the mall's electricity supply? Like someone might've been getting much larger power bills than normal or some shops might have been running with dim lights and shit cause all this power being diverted to the grow warehouse?

Does anyone know if there's been any updates on this? I tried looking online but keep finding the same brief reports saying cops wont say how they found out about it and they havent caught anyone yet.
