Growing Journal

Ok, so it can get a little complicated keeping up with all your plants -- watering schedules, growth, ferterlizers, ect...... and not all of us want an online record of our actions.

I found this free journal called Smart Diary Suite. It is not a blog. It is software on your desktop that you can password protect. It has some pay version upgrades, but the Free version is overkill as is.

You can write daily journal entries with pictures. Stress degrees importance on entries for quick color-coated reference to specific habitual acts/results. Schedule time periods for watering, harvesting, flowering...

I do not work for this company, nor do I think paying for the premium softare is necessary. I've just been using the FREE edition for awhile and it's been immensely useful and thought I'd share it with you guys. But if you're comfortable with it, keeping a grow journal on RUI is great. Yeah, I admit those pics do seem daunting. I took them off the website, so their setup is probably utilizing all the features. It's really super EASY. In my opinion it's too hard to stay perpetual without some kind of log. This is nice since you can add pictures and the whole program is password protected.

This is all I use. Left box has entries. Right box shows a preview. The graph shows a time line that you can click on and go to any entry. The blue bars are waterings of vegetative plants, and the pink bars are when clones were watered.
