Growing landrace sativas in Coco/Perlite

The Swazi gold wasn't purchased from a breeder, they were taken directly from source at makhava when my housemate had a contract working as a civil engineer three years ago. There is a chance could have some other genetics mixed in as there was a lot of cheese and sunset Sherbert being grown by local growers a few Kilometers away. The cross breeding was causing a lot of unrest in the villages and the growers were being violently run out due to contamination one by one. One of the local elders was in a right rage about the Dutch strains being spread as they used the landrace for spiritual ceremonies. Dudes over in Nepal at the moment and I'm hoping to get some seeds from the village he's working in.

The Laos I worked with came directly from source as well, and I'm heavily regretting crossing it with BCN critical right about now. This was the result

Nice plant man yeah thank greenhouse for that shitfest leaving loads of exo s1s anywhere they went in Africa collecting seeds pretty much and you can get all sorts of laos strains from kwik seeds maybe worth looking into if u liked that before crossing it

I've heard greenhouse mentioned before. I'm going to have to check it out and see what the deal is as their seems to be a bit of controversy. I've head them mentioned on future cannabis program quite a few times tbh..

I've got some Laos coming from Khalifa genetics. It looks legit af judging their pics. The Laos I grew had majority single blade leaves in flower and had quite a few two bladed leaves which I have never seen before. Didn't even look like weed at one stage. I'd give anything to be in my mates position of travelling these locations. He posted a pic in Nepal from a coffee shop on the second floor and he had his hand out the window playing with this full blown tree. It took me a while to realise it was weed. It was at least 18 foot tall and had horizontal branches.

Here's pics from khalifa that spurred my interest in the Laos again.

We used to get Thai stick back in the day which looked very similar, it was one whole skinny cola wrapped in fan leaves and tied up and left to ferment. You removed the string and smoked it stem and all. They burnt like crap, popped with seeds and got you super fucked up. Like a strange cigar with a stick in the middle lol.

Yeah i was lucky enough to try some imported thai stick many years ago it wasnt oil coated tho i know the older batches were coated on the outside then they stopped doing it for whatever reason

The controversy as you put it is when they go to get seeds to make hybrids with they have a habit of leaving there fem hybrids with the natives and then obviously genetic pollution occurs sadly

That’s exactly how my Lao sa from real seed co came out. It would start budding and then like 7 weeks in randomly grow more branches.

It made some amazing hash. So oily if you squished it flat some would fuse to your fingers.
