growing medical strain outdoors in UK/Ireland weather possible?

Hi im interested in growing out doors this year in the UK and iv been looking into hardy plants that can be grown outdoors,
i plan on growing a Northern Lights strain because i believe this has high medicinal values and is mold Resistance?

i have land and was planning on planting in south facing hedge rows. growing in green house first untill plants are strong enough to withstand rabbit attack and rough weather

if there is a better indica strain for growing in cold climates i would love to know more about it and where i could purchase seed
and if someone has a successful strategy on growing outdoor please give me a heads up,

i have attempted to grow weed a few times over this last few years with little success this is my main reason for letting nature take control this time
