I have 6 going right now (8 plants, 3 are from beans waiting to see which pheno I keep) and due to some electrical issues in this house a 4' 8 bulb fluorescent set up is the best light I can run. Do some research on your strains, I didn't. Sour Diesel does not grow well next to Master Kush x Skunk (super stretch vs super bush) when you trying to keep your light as close to the plants as possible. Had I read up I would not have bought the Sour Deez clone.

I also do not keep mothers, I clone before flower and I always take 2 of each (unless I want to grow multiple clones of a single plant) just incase. I keep 1 special male clones even though I kill it after Veg half the time.

i usually do many diferent strains at the same time and most finish close to the same time at least hopefully finish around same time. i really like to have a choice of different selections throughout the winter months until my next harvet.

sometimes i do end up with some that finish a little later than the rest, but those will go into flower a week earlier next time i grow them.

i guess the worst thing about have too many different strains, is all the different jars that need to be burped during cure. but after the cure is nice to open the cupboard and decide what i would like to smoke.

I just finished a grow with 19 plants and 9 or 10 varieties. I get a lot of freebies from Attitude
and like to grow a bunch of different types. However, I'm partial to indicas and usually my grows
are mostly that. That means there isn't as much difference in finishing times as it would be with
indicas and sativas. Sativas usually take longer.

I water with nute water every day and try to match the quantity of water with the plant size.
Seedlings at 8-10 inches might get 4-6 ounces a day while larger flowering females may get up
to 30 ounces a day. I do germinate and re-pot each grow all at once to try to keep them around
the same size. If I veg most indicas with 4 weeks in dirt before switching the lights to 12/12 I
know most varieties will be around 30 inches high then and around 4-5 feet tall when finished.
You gotta size your grow to match your lights.
