growing mushrooms

hi all, i want to try my hand atgrowing some mushrooms again,its been a while since i last did it and the first ime was more an experiment than anything....this time aroundid actuallylike togrow quite a bit to save for storage and such,i would like anywhere from a few ounces to maybe even a half LB orsomething likethat, what i want toknow is if maybe anyone knows a good video or some tips from being more successful in this venture, thanks bye

i'm sure canndo will show up sooner or later ak, but imo, canndo is the resident shroom expert here on riu.. can learn a ton from him imo, and i'm pretty sure he's got a few sticky threads in this section on how to grow, which would be my starting point..

pretty sure rory420420 is another excellent shroom grower as well..

http://www.mushroomvideos.com/ go there. Watch the BRF videos. Then build you a SGFC. Its very easy. Get a clear container, drill 1/4 inch holes 2 inches apart on all six sides, Top, bottom, all 4 sides. It works charms! Check it!!

1) Use liquid culture
2) Mix your grain in compost mix, don't fruit it.

roger rabbits lets grow mushrooms videos. Canndo and Javadog are each full of knowledge. You could also just do stones, mycelium masses grown invitro in jars just inoculate and wait for 2-3 months after full colonization or up to a year break up and harvest when youre ready and dump the grains into the jar to do it again. These will be a bit tougher to store if you are looking dry them and keep for the long term.

If you intend to do any sort of bulk, you must use either whole grain or bulk substrates. No flour, no exotic vermiculite concoctions. It is possible to get a half pound with my method but I don't advise it. The point here is to have the most surface area possible in the most modular way you can. My favorite for bulk is straw.

were is the best place to get spores discretly.. i wana grow some mushrooms to trip.. because honestly. most of the people i would have to talk to to get mushrooms.. lol.. plus i figure shit.. i grow buds.. maybe i could grow shrooms.. too..

Heard someone is goin be a daddy ?? Congratulations bro.. They will give ya grey hairs I tell ya. Peep this shit. My eldest is 18. Well prom was last night. Took her there, meet the new BF. Well on the way home she leans forward and tells me & her mother " he asked if I wanted to have sex"..!! Boy I felt my BP goin up!! Dont worry, I kept my cool though. I then preceded to tell her that things like that need to wait until your an adult. Also that you need to finish on out college & make something of yourself. Not to mention that it would be nice to save that for someone she really loved. I know how kids are though.. We all was at one time haha DAMN.. I wanted to turn that vehicle around and whoop some ass though.. haha
