Growing problems please help.

Hi I'm new to this forum and this is my first post
Anyway I have 5 plants growing right now all 26 days old from seed. The issue I'm having is well the tallest one is only 4 inch at the most... I have one fast and vast auto that is not over an inch tall but is greener than green. I then have three Buddha assorted auto's that are between 2-3 inches then I have my Dr. Krippling incredible bulk that is 4 inches. I feel like this plants should be taller I have been giving them water every two days or so making sure the dirt is moist. They are also getting plenty of sun light. Today I transplanted them into the ground where they will stay for good. So pretty much if u could tell me if these plants look healthy that would be great and I'll put up more photos very soon! Thanks in advance!

water less, wait till soil drys but not too dry. You did a good thing putting them outside. yay for incoming pics

When I planted these in their new home today I put nutes in the bottom of the whole with each hole being two feet wide two feet deep then filled back in with decent dirt then watered.

Fast growth rates are driven by a supply of O2 to the roots- they are not getting much air in that muddy clay- if this was my plant I would dig out around the root ball about a foot deep & then replant it after adding in a good organic mix that contains plenty of perlite like ocean forest or happy frog - add in an extra few handfuls of perlite for good measure

I cant tell if that is grass or pine needles.. if that is pine needles on top of your soil definitely remove those as they can cause the soil to turn too acidic

I used a organic mix that I got from my local nursery and put cow manure on top sparingly then watered and literally took the pics right after that. I will take more pics tomorrow of the soil.

That would be pine needles. They will be removed first thing tomorrow morning!

OK so obviously I am having problems according to the post above this haha. So if my autos are so small will they still grow to their full potential if I have them in the right growing medium now? Or will they be finished in 40 some days like their advertised?

I'm a new grower but from what I read you'll probably end up with a short single cola plant. I was told transplanting could sometimes cause that problem, I two just received my Buddha assortment autos, I'm going to start them when I'm done with this candy cane.

How do you germinate your seeds? I think that was my first problem... I planted in clear 8oz cups with minimal drainage then transplanted to a 2 gallon bucket then to ground.

I plan on doing another order from herbiesheadshop.com if I get the autos germinated by mid July they should be finished by October correct?

I did the paper towel method,as soon as they sprouted I put the in 5 gal bags under a 400 watt m/h light. I have a hps light for the 4 to 5 weeks of flower. But mine are now already into preflower with pistols shooting out every were I'll be at a month on sat.

I'll check them out! Herbies only took 10 days but I live in new England so that could have been why pretty close to customs!
