Growing Question

Hello, I've been out of the loop for quite some time and seeing if someone can point me in the right direction. I'll keep it short and apologize if there's any topic about this already. Putting aside if I can or cannot get a relationship with a dispensary. How would I go about growing at home and selling to medical or recreational dispensaries? Can't quote it, but I heard for 2016 there's more restrictions in the industry?

I'll keep it short and sweet. You legally can't.

They intentionally did away with this through a series of laws passed eliminating this shit all together. Even the gray area is now gone because everything is tagged from seed to sale through MITS. So either you're a licensed producer or you aren't. If this wasnt the case, the shit on shelves in dispensaries wouldn't be the garbage it is. (for the most part i'm not saying all are bad)

Wow that's a bummer. Licensed producers are usually the dispensaries themselves or individuals that could already legally grow before the new laws?

Thanks for the link. Maybe I'm missing something but do I just need to apply and be accepted for a MED license? A lot of it sounds like it's referring to dispensaries with actual buildings, not home growers(I'm sure they're treated the same).This looks like the section I need to learn more about:

Retail Marijuana Cultivation: used exclusively for the cultivation of Retail Marijuana plants and the harvesting of Retail Marijuana. If not associated with a Product Manufacturer this licensee may sale Retail Marijuana to other cultivations, stores or product manufacturers within the Colorado Regulated system.

each county limits the areas producers can be .. but yes a retail sales lic thru mmed is all you need ...

it sounds easy. till you figure out you cant grow at home and sell, anything , ever. you have to have a commercial grow facility with the cameras and alarms and everything, and pass all the required inspections and all the different permits needed from local/city goverments as well as the state license needed to be able to legally sell what you grow.

Yeah I mean I wasn't trying to be a negative dick... you "can" do it, but basically you cant.

Even if you take all the above into consideration you also have to remember the following: Most dispensaries I know are trying to offload weed on wholesale not the other way around. If you can produce weed at a lower price point (because they dont give a fuck about quality) than a football field sized warehouse more power to you!

For the record, I suck at reading sometimes. you did state everything I basically said. and I was referring to my own response, if I come across as a dick I expect to be called out on it lol no biggie man. sometimes stoned reading is hard lol

Just hearsay, but I think you can sell home grown to those cannabis clubs that are now popping up everywhere still. They haven't gotten around to legislating all that yet...I think. If anyone can correct me that would be awesome, like I said it's just hearsay from a friend of a friend so not really reliable. I've been in a couple and they seem pretty lose though

lol usually its a get home form work late, smoke a joint/ couple of dabs hit the forums and go to bed. almost as bad as drunk posting but not quite that level of regret lol

You cannot legally sell any cannabis without a license to do so. You cannot sell to clubs.
