Growing slower?

Should my plant be bigger, or is it growing at a good pace?

Thanks again man. I think I’m gonna try to put it in 12/12 just so I can try and get at least some bud off of it, and start fresh and better equipped my second time growing. I’ll post picture updates as it goes. By the way, what’s your opinion on 12/12 from seed? I’ve seen a lot of people praise and criticize it, I’m tempted to get a seed going to the side just to try it.
I've done 12/12 from seed. If grown properly in a good environment with plenty of light you can easily get an ounce or more per plant. It's strain dependent on how well it does. This was 12/12 from seed.

Yea Solo cups grows are fun but a pain in the ass because they require much more attention then a normal plant. I have these going right now. Pic was taken a few days ago.81988960_616452285756227_1700919616013860864_n.jpg

I was the same way with my first grow. I started with bare essentials and worked my way up. You can get a thermometer/hydrometer on ebay for like $5. Cheap one but they work and are accurate.
Thanks so much for the advice. I thought the plant was doing amazing until I started seeing other plants at the same age and they were almost 3-4 times bigger, so I didn’t know what I was doing wrong.

First time I grew, I used a cardboard box and pc fans with bunch of CFL-s plugged in a power strip. Use this run for learning purposes while you save up for couple of basic things. Doesn't cost too much these days to get going. I'm still using PC fans I bought years ago in my tent right now.
As far as 12/12 from seed goes, who says you have to use solo cups ? Definitely go bigger containers if you're going to try it. I did it in a solo cup last year for a contest on here and it's pain in the ass to babysit
Well, it’s actually in a 2 gallon pot at the moment, I did the transplant roughly a couple weeks ago, and it has honestly grew so much since then, but it’s still about 2 weeks behind most other plants at this age.

You have to watch with that too. Some strains just don't grow too big and tall like others.

I think mine’s roughly the size of the blue cup, maybe a little taller, mine’s currently in a 2 gallon pot. However, I’ve seen many posts about side branching off the main branches that form, how quickly was that supposed to happen? It appears that you have so many more leaves on the blue cupped plant give or take on the size.

I topped that plant a few times though then trained it outwards.

Makes sense, I guess I was too worried about it appearing smaller that I didn’t think it could simply be normal and a smaller growing plant. Because it looks really healthy.
Honestly, I wouldn't worry. She will get ALOT bigger in flower once she starts stretching. Overall she looks healthy. This is your first grow too. Next time you grow, you'll at least have an idea of what to do. If you don't feel comfortable about something, do a little reading. Make a journal and take notes as well. We are here to help however we can.
