Get in the mindframe of not counting weeks at all. The breeders week timeframe doesn't matter. The overall age doesn't matter. The plant will finish when it's done, some arbitrary number of days doesn't matter. Saying "I'll let it go for an extra 3 weeks" is a bad mind frame. You're setting yourself up for failure if it's not ready by then.Figured as much. I'm going to let it go for an extra 3 weeks and see where its at.
Yep.. the plants ready when it's ready full stop.Get in the mindframe of not counting weeks at all. The breeders week timeframe doesn't matter. The overall age doesn't matter. I wouldn't listen to any of that garbage about babying autos. I top them multiple times, train them, crop them and they are always far bigger then the majority of autos here. There is a million misconceptions about autos everywhere. Top is a 120x60, bottom is a 100x50 tent.Yeah that's what I did with my last ones was just let them finish on their own time. One has a little curling going on with the top foliage. I turned down my hps light to 300 watts which is half capacity. I also just watched a grow diary video where a guy had the same phenos as mine and they were doing the same thing. The leaves are still green though. I topped two to see what would happen and I'm gonna let the others just do there thing and not top them. They're autos by the way
It's actually the opposite with autos. You have more of a chance of messing them up and getting reduced yields. My initial plan is to get good at autos because theirs a lesser chance of messing it up for now. I did some photoperiod strains about 4 months ago with T5 light. Now I have a 3×3×6 tent with a 600 watt HPS. getting a 6inch inline fan and a carbon filter tomorrow to cool down the light and created an actual ideal environment. If IG goes well I'm going to veg maybe two or one big plant until I know its solid enough to produce a good yield. Right now I'm just learning and I'm getting pretty good for just my second crop. I should have a perpetual harvest every two and a half weeks of about a quarter pound starting early July. And I'm doing nothing but organic sources of nutrients and its working quite well
That depends on a breeder. If breeder does proper selection and stress testing his autos, they can withstand many of newbies mistakes. It's actually the opposite with autos. You have more of a chance of messing them up and getting reduced yields.
Apparently that's why every newbie posting auto photos here, asking what's wrong with them, are 10 inches tall...That depends on a breeder. If breeder does proper selection and stress testing his autos, they can withstand many of newbies mistakes.
