Growing tent waaay too hot

So I run TS1000 18'' over the canopy and It's getting way too hot (around 85F). I'm at day 30 veg and the light is set at 75%. I can't think what will happen when I turn to flower and the light is at full power. How do I keep the tent cooler? Is this the optimal position for the oscillating fan? Should I place another one or should I buy a better exhaust fan?

Lower your clip fan so it pushes cool air from the canopy to the top. At the minute it is too high and is likely only circulating the led heat in the upper space. If your thermometer is in direct light it will also give a higher reading. Place it under a leaf at canopy height to get a more accurate reading.

If you already have an extractor, even only a 4 inch, that light is only 150W, unless I got that wrong. It should not be pushing you up to 85f. Try and get a more accurate reading, 80f at canopy level is fine.

I thought it's the top leaves' temperature that is concidered most important. However yeah it makes sense cuz its only the top few leaves and not the whole plant
If the thermometer is in direct light, the plastic will begin to heat up, and that will increase the reading, since the plastic will be warming the air around it. Just under the top leaves is where you want it, and make sure there is nothing else around the thermometer to interfere with the reading. The same applies to humidity, it will always give a higher reading if it is near a wet pot or touching a leaf, since they will most often give off more moisture than is actually in the air.

85 isn't too hot for LED. Its just about perfect. And from what can be of the plants, they don't look unhappy.

can install a little booster fan in the lower inlet, pushing cold air into the tent from the outside.
