Hey there guys,
I recently started growing some Thai bag seeds and are about 16 days in since germination

I'm growing it from a PC case ( made into a mini grow tent)

Have ordered some led grow lights but it hasn't arrived, so I made do with a fish tank led light20200608_124546.jpg

For air, I'm using just a normal stand-fan. The room temp I'm growing in is always around 21'c to 27'c

Hoping they don't turn out to be males ROFL!
My growing method would be hydroponic kratky

Ill be able to put a few books under to bring it closer to the light, thanks for the advice.. it's my first grow.
I moved it to this setup about 3 days ago. Was previously growing in direct sunlight but realized it was stretching way to much

Is there a fan in there making them wiggle? It will help keep them short and build up the stems

Are u planning another sized tent? Those are gonnna run out of room real fast.

better get training the height of them otherwise.

Due to restrictions I'll be growing it only in the PC case, how do I go about growing the height?

I am planning to get a bigger/wider base , which would lower the plant by a good margin

couple ways of doing it. Low stress training and high stress training.

low stress training (LST) is essentially tying down the branches to allow more light into the bud sites make making a wider more even topped plant.

High stress training involves topping (Chopping the top growth of the highest point of the plant) which will force the plant into a bushier style.

For that small space the only way I can see a decent yield is using a combination of LST and HST.

@Silky_smooth Flux training. Search that on this forum and you’ll see what I mean :)

Thanks.. I'll check that out.
I was thinking of lst but unsure if the plant is to young to do so

If you had them in direct sunlight and they were stretching they're going to stretch even more under that light. I find it hard to believe that those stretched that much in direct sunlight. How many hours of sun were they getting? They need a good 8 hours of direct sun. If they're in shade most of the day of course they're going to stretch.

I'd get rid of that taped up straw contraption and rig up something that goes straight up to tie them to like some kind of stake inserted into the media going vertical. And what's with the hydroton?

I brought back brick weed seeds from Malaysia (kuala lumpa) all 4 turned out to be male. They had some strong growth but I wasn’t up for breeding them not enough room. , you should maybe try and put them onto 12/12 for a few nights to see if they show you sex. They could be males and you could waste a lot of time and money building new room etc for them to turn out male. Can always buy female seeds if they do.

I can't get female seeds, where I am from, cannabis is still illegal, so I'm growing in stealth. I'm just redoing the PC grow box. 20200615_210003.jpg20200615_210016.jpg

I manage to buy some reflective material and replace my old foil setup. I'm waiting on my carbon filter and plant net so I can properly mainline them.

I have about 40 seeds more. The first time I tried to germinate these seeds. I used up 30 to get these 2 plants. So if they turn out to be males gotta try my luck with the remaining seeds I have. No choice :(

And I think my plants are different, one looks more indica and the other sativa. 20200615_203721.jpg
