this is going to be me and my friends first time growing and we are most likely doing an attic grow hydroponically(not much time to water the plants and i like sticky buds:mrgreen:)
i just need a few tips on the ventilation system,steal/smell,healthy grow, and most importantly the SEEDS! i have a big family meaning people are most likely home when i receive the package i heard some seed banks give it in a wallet? i just want to know the least hot way to receive my seeds (i don't have a credit card :/) thanks!

Hydro is the most hands on and expensive to grow, also the hardest to do correctly.

i thought about it and i want some haze we mostly have indica around here plus i wouldn't know if it's a good strain or not because i don't have seeds in my goodshit around here thanks for the suggestion tho.

you know, not all hydro methods are that complicated. growing in coco is similar to soil in that it can be hand watered and wont force you to rely on reservoirs/pumps and all that fun stuff. do a bit of research on it and you will see it's not that hard. plant a seed in it, water it once a day with nutrients, and there ya go.

The advantages to soil:
it can be watered less frequently.
Nutrients are required less often as soil naturally contains some food to begin with where as coco does not ( therefor every watering or two requires nutrients ).
and that's all i can really think of off the top of my head. i could be missing some here but that's my experience as a med patient without a backyard to do outside gardenwork.

The advantages of coco:
overwatering is near impossible to do as long as you allow the container to drain due to the fact that it retains a high amount of oxygen even after heavy waterings. One thing soil might do to you every once in a while is get so bogged down in water that the roots can start to suffocate. Oxygen to the roots is a good good thing.
Many other advantages and they can be found on the coco section of the forums.

I highly suggest Canna brand only because i have not had problems with calcium deficiencies that some other brands cause. Use their coco and their nutes, and your set.

If you are intimidated at all by mixing nutrients ( something you will probably have to do even in soil grows ), don't be. its litterally just mix this amount per this amount of water, repeat..

But then again if this is outdoors, then i would probably just go with soil.

one more thing,

reason i am encouraging you to research hydro methods is that 4 weeks of vegetating ( or even only 1 week ) and 8-13 weeks of flowering is a long time to grow something you feel is an inferior product... trust me i know. I do not have the talent to grow as good of a plant indoors in soil that others do.

Soil indoors comes with it's own set of problems, and as i have heard many of old timer i have talked to tell me: Soil belongs outdoors.

But yay you grower's that can do it! I do have respect for ya
