600w hps for the flower and a realy weak t5 for clonc/veg. i do have a MH conversion i plan on using once the flower cycle is through...

I checked out your thread, and my answer is HYDRO..I like my setup but wouldn't recommend it to a first time hydro user, the roots have become a problem with multiple strains. I like single DWC buckets better!

400W HPS, I removed 2 plants today and put another 100 w CFL at the bottom to give the remaining troubled ones a chance for the last few weeks...I had pulled as many of the roots that were bundled together out. Any idea on how long before the dead roots start affecting the res?

Today i removed two of the problematic bitches, they had mold starting to show on the root bundle, when i got them out of the net pot one had completely rotted at the bottom of the rockwool.
I did a res change and cleaned with 3% H202 and added about 1/4 C to the res with nutes to top off at 1600 PPM with 300mL of Flora Nova Bloom and 100 mL of Liquid Kool Bloom pH is at a steady 5.8

#300 post...Im pretty much at a stand still right now until my roots clear up..I think that my harvest is going to be pushed back a couple of weeks. Im currently flushing with 29% H202 and Orca and fresh water until my roots get better, they are starting to whiten up but have slime...The Orca will inhibit the slime and turn it into beneficial microbes but im not sure when to start my nutrients back up. I have never had root rot before, and its a pain in the dick!

damn! sucks to hear about ur misfortune.. hopefully you can correct the problem soon, every time i had it i lost the plants. but then again, i was in soil an a noob.

It's a bagseed Sativa.....There are 2 strains, the small one in the back left corner with the fatter pistils reminds me of a lemon skunk which is a sativa blend... I hope that they can make it through the end of flowering so i can fill these buds out, some are quite airy and i would like to compact them...I have thought about using some GRAVITY, but if the roots don't get better its not worth the effort, if they dont show signs of improving, then this fresh water that is in the res will be the final flush..30 gals of water is to much to keep on flushing..its starting to add up..

Update on root issue, there are new shoots starting to form which is a great sign. I am debating on when to add nutrients back to my res, im currently on day 3 of flushing with H202 and Orca with fresh water.
Should i add nutrients back to the res now, if so should i pump out a few gallons and top off with my nutrients and fresh water? I do not want to dump res and refill completely.
How much longer do you think i have until harvest, im guessing about 2-3 weeks. I would like to use Gravity for a week before i flush so that im able to fill out the buds since they are so airy from these root issues. They have pretty much stopped growth for the past 5 days or so. H202 will be added throughout the rest of flower, until final flush.
