I keep seeing and reading that you can grow with a bucket,

a airpump and an airstone done.

How effective are these systems if that good and so easy why isn't everyone using them?

Drippers, flood drain all seem like hard work compared to an airpump and bucket.

That said i'm doing one myself so far there alive so i can't see a difference thus far and it looks good, but i bet the growth will be slower of something unless someone tells me different. Myself my usual system would be a re-cuculation drip sprinkler system which is for myself perfect a tough act to follow. Can anyone tell me the main difference with the pro's and cons please???

The roots love O2! My 4 are at day 39 (put the seeds in a wet paper towel on day 0) and they are far taller and denser than anything I have ever grown in soil. Does not require a fancy setup to get good results. I'm using 2 12in air stones combined with two 4in round stones, basically saturating the roots with air bubbles.

Hey if you go with this method, i would try to make my reservoir the starting point. Having each plant in seperate buckets with out a reservoir SUCKS... Your growth will be great and all but ur gonna be putting in ALOT of time. Checking each res ppm and ph 2x daily, fixing problems is not fun...........

Trust me im doing it now,, it blows

You guys will like the growth rate its pretty cool especially in veg. Another HUGE thing you have to watch for is Res temp.. Bigger the res the cooler it will be.. Im thinking about getting a res cooler but they are atleast 250 bucks from what i have seen. Anyways from what i have read 68 is a good temp for a res. Mine are 75 now and am strugglin.

I found out that ur supposed to reduce the amount of water in the buckets during flowering? Anyone know about this? If its true how much would you reduce?
