growing with cfls

well i like i said i got seeds this Sunday and im making a grow box right now i have eight plants sprouted and they are outside getting sun until i make the grow box but when i make it im going to be growing with 23watt=100watt 1674 lumens+ cfls and i want to know if 4 of these would be enough for a while with theese plants? oh and bye the way does anybody have any tips or anything while using cfls first grow ever !!!!!!!!!!!!

most people will probably say cfls ok for vegging then move onto hps for flowering,

have a search for other peoples cfl grows, some are very imppresive

I'm going to say 4 23W CFL's will not be adequate for long, if at all. If I'm starting plants, I use 1 42W per seedling. If you plan to do CFLs throughout, you will be needing more than 92 watts for 8 plants. Good luck w/ your grow.

ok what if i have 7 of them for six plants how long should that last me untill i need to upgrade?

my 20w + 20w + 20w + 42w (102w) CFL's doesnt do the job well for 3 plants. these lights are enough for .. 2 plants maximum. i hope this helps.

hey if i do the greening period indoors would i be able to do the budding outdoors? i live in southern California mind you so it wont get very cold at all?
