well a sea of green {you can look up a better description} is instead of vegging out a few huge plants like 4-6ft {tall and wide} you take allot of plants say err 20 for example} {i use cloning to achieve this cheaply little more time but alot more plants
) you take the twenty small plants all same age {size can be close by a foot} and put them all together to make a canopy or a solid field of plants in which you are concentrating on the main colas and trimming the bottom branches for of course more clones
hence you make larger fuller top colas {main top branches } i really wish i knew the thread read along time ago but he fella instead of one big huge flower room had it set up in four stages or four boxes in which the first box had mother plants and clones kept on 22 hours light once you get we say 20 clones about a foot hight he would move them into the next room for veg till about 2 ft all the while the first box is pumping out the next 20 little ones. when box two has reached two foot you move them to box 3 which is the flowering box to finish there life in . when there done move them into box 4 which is your drying box/closet/attic/above your bed so you sleep in there goodness. so a couple runs in and your putting out a pound of pot a month in a small space .... look up some conitinious grow threads plenty out there probably one stickied
but SOG sea of green just means alot of medium plants crammed into one spot to use max light and use with a continous grow system you be putting em out safe and fast with small wattage i do so with multiple 150 watt hps and some flouroscents for a small continous grow and i put out about 5 ounces a month with about 4 plants at a time nothing fancy just some lights dirt water and elbow grease
you can also flower double the amount of flowers by growing twice the space of your flower box and say take 40 plants and flower them put twenty in flower room for first twelve hours as group A and twenty the other 12 hours of the day group b and run your lights 24 hours
