In vegg that is, for blooming its more accurate to say it will only keep up with a 90 watts of HPS. but in vegg a UFO can keep up with a 400 watt MH.I will tell you right now that no 90W LED will replace a 400W HPS, and I own several LEDs. A 90W will probably only replace about 180W of HPS (at the most), you have to do your math like that.
Claims are claims not proof...You should look at a minimum of 180W of LED, probably 240W is even better, for 400W HPS replacement. 180W LED will still contend with a 250W HPS.
I would recommend you definitely not buy cheap chinese lights from ebay, as they tend to blow their power supplys within the first year. Definitely buy from someone who will back the product and fix it when something goes wrong. I myself use Kessil's and will be trying Blackstars.I would recommended to buy from china ( ebay ) but know your specs and red and blue ratio and how much watts, I notice alot of website who claims to support the american economy and blah blah blah are ripping americans off even more by selling LED that outputs the lowest watts that grow better than other LEDS and claims thier competitors support china they are charging 1000's for stupid fixtures with LEDs in that barely amount to any watts, I am no way supporting any LED company but I want a bang for my buck and the cost of per watts most LED's that are said to be made in USA was actually made in china and shipped to USA. Before buying the LED read up what it say, and get the one with more reds than blues. I got my 600 watter for 650$ shipped and it works good
Most leds chinese or not dies after a year do to lack of fans, i have like 6 on mine been using it for 2 years and still works, even if you had ones that the company will fix however... With the fix it price you can buy another chinese LED.I would recommend you definitely not buy cheap chinese lights from ebay, as they tend to blow their power supplys within the first year. Definitely buy from someone who will back the product and fix it when something goes wrong. I myself use Kessil's and will be trying Blackstars.
These are the LED's that I use and have a good turn out with - Blackstar:

Call these guys and talk to them, They are the only suppliers I have seen that offer quality, customer service, and less than outrageous prices. I have 750W of these guys that I mix with 1000W HPS. Great stuff. Tremendous yields.
Other good names are kessil, ISIS, 357 magnum, bulldog...however they are all extremely expensive in comparison (although the kessils are coming down a bit). I haven't dealt with spectra but if jdizzle22 is right then give them a look see as well.
you need to stick a CFL in your butthole and grow shit you piece of shit! lolwell, i think this entire forum is full of corny ass advertisers, seriously, reading this was like watching an infomercial. fuck your leds
Too exspensive for the watts your 180w inmho should be 200 at the most. Thoes LEDs looks like the use more than blue or red, keep it simple red and blue price is cheaper and they look to yield the same anywaywhat do you guys think about this? its 319.00 on their website but right now its cheap on ebay.
