Everything. If you want healthy plants and good yield you're going to need to feed them. If budget is an issue you can look around for DIY mixes that will run you $5-$10 at most.

If you potted a cutting into some decent soil and banged it directly into flower you might get lucky and pull something out since the soil will have alot of neuts in it to help feed the plant.

If you vegged them tho , then tryed to flower with "empty" soil and just water , I doubt if your plants would even have anything come 8 week's.

I disagree with these posts.... I think they would look like shit and youd make it 6 weeks before all the leaves died to the point of no return.... and youd be forced to cut early buds

And the constant cycle of life that makes soil usable year after year. Something we don't get indoors.. unless you are super organic and put bugs and animals and predators in your grow room.
true, but he did leave us up to our own assumptions due to the very little info given. :)

you could make it through veg with no nutes if you were using miracle grow soil that has the time release food in it. To make it through flowering and be worth anything you will need to feed them. Walmart has all purpose plant food for 4 bucks.
