Growing with roommates.. smell question for growers

I'm moving into an apartment soon and planning on growing 1 maybe 2 plants in a small homemade grow box- the only problem is I'll be living with roommates and don't want them to know I'll be growing. Assuming a well designed grow box with a carbon filter tucked in a closet, would it be possible to keep the smell of just 1 or 2 plants during flowering contained to a bedroom without it leaking into the hall? Advice from anyone that has grown would be extremely helpful. Thanks

may be tough , def. use a filter and out take air to outside if its safe( try getting some ona gel air frsheners , they sell at hydro stores open them and put in your outtake)..also be carefull who comes over ( roommates freinds may recognize the smell b4 your room mates..definately keep it a secret even from your freinds, everyone knows people can be stupid... GOOD LUK!

also listen for rattling from your fan or buzzing from your light ballast.. take a walk around the apartment .. can u smell it ? hear it? make sure your safe!

that's risky and will put your roommates in danger, not cool man. if/when they find out you better run fast. jk i hope it all works out for the greater good
