Growing with the AeroGarden

Anyone tried this? How does it work? I was thinking about getting it to grow some auto's during the winter. I'd probably only grow one plant at a time so it has the room to grow. Since zellers is about to close they have then for 40% off and it if works its way worth it to get one. I'd only be paying 100 bucks for a full hydro set up, sounds great to me but im looking to hearing peoples experiences with them. Thanks guys!!

They are way to small to veg and flower a plant and the lighting is not near enough. They do may great little cloners though. I want one for cloning but my doom has been working great so if it aint broke.....

I actually just found a section in hydro grows on this website thats all about the aero garden. You do need a few more things it doesnt come with but i think it can be done. And looking at youtube videos it looks pretty good. All i would grow is one auto at a time and would adjust the lighting to be taller for the plant. You can buy better lights on there website. Still dont know if i want it for sure yet. I cant have a full closet grow in my house so i hoping this will be perfect for me. I grow outdoors in the summer but would be nice to have a couple free ounces in the winter as well. Its too expensive to set up a indoor grow for me but the areo garden comes with pretty well everything for 100 bucks. The people on youtube look like they have the original lights and there weed looks bomb.

Its strawberry cough, its a amazing strain!!

IMO still way to small, the plat will run out of room to grow. Aerogarden does make a XL unit that is for larger plants.

Yes the tomato one but the only model they have is the space saver one with 6 places. Even tho i'd only ever use one and all you have to do is take the light off the adjusting pole and hang it or attach another pole to expend it even higher. I dont think it would run out of room. I grow auto's, only get a foot or 2 anyways

Hi! Just wanted to stop by in this thread and say wonderful job on your grow thread (in sig). I am currently about 4 weeks into a fem grow in my Aerogarden (the largest model, only one plant). Yes, I'll agree you can build your own that is much more suited, this is (so far) working well for me. This is my first grow and the Aerogarden was given to me along with the nutes for free. I couldn't beat it for giving it a try. I started off kind of throwing everything together with limited research but now I've become addicted!! I can't wait to get home every day to see her progress and read more on the forum! I'm already considering changes I'll be making for my next grow!

Just wanted to say hi and also beautiful job on the grow in your sig! Cheers!

Thanks so much for the kind words. Ill be trying my aero garden out this winter. Yes i bought it cause who can go wrong is 80% off cause zellers is closing here in canada. Thanks for commenting on my this years grow. I havent updated in a long time but i still have my big plants outside, ready to crop in a few weeks. And i forgot to take pictures of the northern lights but its was amazing!!. Thanks and happy growing

hey i had my mind on the same as you im over in bc and they are 107 here at zellers! hope it works out for you keep us updated with pics if possible!

Got mine for $12 at Goodwill superstore. Just the unit. Along with some Root Riot plugs, Foxfarm Tiger Bloom, 2 Auto #1's and 2 220 red L.E.D lights on the sides, it should be fine. Just waiting on the seed....
