GrowLush Digi Ballast Question

G'day

I'm looking to get a digital ballast.

I was hoping to get a 250w lumatek but they're not available in my country, so was looking at the 400w Grow Lush, which iwas told would still run at 250w.

The reason for the digi is that i'm going to be mounting in a wall behind my bed, and although i should be able to get more than suitable ventilation i would prefer something safer and quieter since its so close to where i sleep.

I was wondering if anybody could advise whether the grow lush is a decent unit or whether i should just get a lumatek sent over - will be double the price.

Also, i was wondering if someome could confirm whether the ballast will actually run at 250w with a 250w hps/mh, or if it will run at 400w and then the lamps will just draw 250w.

You should have a look at these on ebay AU, I bought a couple and they work well, made in USA, not China, and cheap too.

Forgot to mention that they are very quiet and hardly get warm too.

Do you think i'd be able to run 250w lamps on it? i don't really have the space for a 400w - even though i would like to....
