most people might disagree with me but whatever... put those bitches under a 400w HPS with about 4-5 ft of space in between them, see link provided ( http://www.amazon.com/Pressure-Sodium-Halide-Electronic-Digital/dp/B004YXDHC2/ref=sr_1_8/176-7093808-4976406?ie=UTF8&qid=1424463743&sr=8-8&keywords=400+watt+hps+mh+grow+light )... 20 days you should have a pretty big plant. the light is the source of the plant, if it doesnt have enough it wont grow. also you might hear people say "the more lights the better"... totally false. heres a link to another post about lights. it should hook you up properly. the first link they were just hitting on the first time grower who might think you can do this with a light bulb.

light is very important. roots are more important for yield.

Agreed, light is super important. I think the most important other then the actual seed and growing medium. Light and water -- without those 2 you have no plant.

I use CFLs to grow, nice plants with high yields can be achieved with them.

You have to pay attention to actual wattage and color temperature. ~6500K for vegging and ~2700K for flowering. I like to use as much light as i can. I use 2 T8's at 102 watts a piece plus CFL side lighting at 250 watts total.. so ~450 watts total for 3 autoflowers.
