I saw a thread awhile back and I cant seem to find it again that answered my question here. I am right at the 30 day mark for growing in a stealth box. All things look great. I am wondering about typical growth during flowering. While I still have some room to let it keep going for a little longer in veg stage, I am trying to figure out when to switch it if it keeps growing during the flower cycle. Right now it would be around 8 inches tall if it was standing up, I have laid it down. I just need to know what a typical growth would be during flowering so I can time the veg cycle to flower cycle accordingly. From what I can tell this is an Indica strain. TIA

indica will give you 2 to 3 times growth overall. so if your tree is 8" prepare for 16" to 24" probably more like 18-20" is were it should stand

According to your answer and if I let it grow to 12 inches in veg and by the time flowering was done, it would be coming out of the box.
Thanks man. I will reset the timer in a few minutes. I have seen several things about letting it go 24 hours in darkness, but I have not come to this conclusion yet, I am thinking on going strait to 12/12
Also, can I continue lst during flowering, or should I release all the tie downs. If this thing has the potential to get as big as you say, lst would be of great benefit to keep it in my area.
Just dont know yet if "it" is a female yet.

when you lst it creates many colas (well in theory it does.) eash side branch becomes a cola of sorts do to the fact they grow up toward the light like a cola. do continue with the lst. i posted something about this about half a year ago. just continue with what you are doing and you will get good results.
Thanks man. I feel like I just dodged a bullet. If I were to have waited another 1 week to 2 weeks, I would have been in a bit of a pickle once I did start flowering. It would have certainly out grew its home. Able to keep doing lst is still going to help alot to keep it contained in its home. Female or male thats the question of the day now......

wat u tiein it down with bruv? i put my plant at a 45d angle. all bottom branches are gettin taller so im hopin i have a good few nice lookin cola's
I am using paperclips, so far they have been doing a good job. Just open them up to the last small "hook". Hook that end to a branch, and stick the rest into the soil for the desired height.

the paperclips just go in the soil. it doesn't pop out???
Sometimes they do, but it really has not been that big of a problem. If I am tying down a real strong branch I may need to use 2 or 3 paperclips but seems to do just fine. I kinda think of it as a way of not putting to much stress on the branch, if I tie it down and the next day its popped out then I possibly was using to much pressure on it and the plant released the pressure for me. Then I just add another one and try not to pull it down so much. Its just a theory I came up with so who knows if it actually works or if I am accomplishing anything, my concern is possibly cutting roots when I stick one end into the soil. We shall see.
