I see more people mixing way to much into their soils of one ingredient or another and it always turns out badly.

Happy frog or bio tone will let your plants eat anything in the soil as long as you have the fungus and bacterial with bio tone or happy frog ?

A lot of premixed organic nutrients already have a wide range of bacteria and Mycorrhizae mixed into it. It all works symbolically with the root system for nutrient uptake.
That is the major difference between synthetics and organics. Synthetics feed the plants but organics you are feeding the soil ....happy microorganisms = very happy plants.

So to build a living soil takes years to activate or is there a faster way to get soil amended and active? You made so much sense right there I appreciate you and everything your saying. Thank you

It does not take yrs no. A lot of ppl when they make an organic super soil, they just mix and let it "cook" for a couple months and then it's ready to rock. Bacteria and fungus grows very fast so it doesn't take long. The only thing that would take a long time is If you are talking about a no till approach (where you are not disturbing the microbes already in place)

Everyone has a different method and it takes yrs to dial it in. Mine is a bit different then most on here because I do not use "dirt" I grow in 100% composted manure then i ammend that...but even at that I'm still tweaking the process seeing what does the best and will be changing a lot of methods this coming yr from not only what's in my soil to how I start them and training.

Hon I shouldnt really make a comment on this because i stick to preblended nutes, because if you get too much of one thing or another It can cause a lot of problems from lock out to toxicity.
Perhaps you can blend a smaller amount and get a soil test done so you know exactly where you stand.

Either way I appreciate the help and everything. Just getting into organics and talking obout it helps me figure things out more and more for the right start. Makes sense it takes years to perfect. I might as well start now.

There are many here in the organic section that could help you out greatly with questions about amounts etc....so dont be afraid to go in there and pick their brains because there is some amazing growers in there.

As far as my soil...I never once thought about stuff like adding silica (because mine is manure not dirt so there isnt really much in it) or adding azomite etc... it's all a learning process for sure.
