Growth problems

Hi, i rencently started my first grow. Im growing one White W. under six 26w cfls 6500k and they dont seem to be growing very fast, its been over a month and they're barely 6 inches tall with only three nodes. I initially had them under 3 40w 4100k but changed it. when i initially noticed this i put them in the sunlight by the window and they started to grow fine. I planted it in the bottom of a 2L pepsi bottle, is this too small? I know i have good soil with all the basic nutrients and a neutral Ph. any thoughts?

What sort of nutrients are your using? How often? Are you pH'ing your water before you water the plants? 80 degrees is warm, but shouldn't be preventing your plants from growing. Is there decent air circulation in the room?

here are some pics, the lights are about 2 inches away, exept on the last one where i lifted the lights for a picture, the plant is already over a month, i just transplated yesterday into a new bigger pot. Im using peat moss with slow release nutrients, other growers back home use the exact same stuff whith incredible results so im at a loss with this situation.DSC00885.jpgDSC00882.jpgDSC00883.jpgDSC00884.jpg

Hmm yeah something's not right. You have a good sized pot and good lighting...Does your peat moss get good drainage, any perlite in there? How often are you watering? What's "neutral" Ph, ~7? It looks like the leaves may be a tiny bit deformed and the color is a very light green, both of those I believe are Ph indicators. I'm not sure though. Sorry I can't be more help.

ok well the ph is balanced wuth dolomitic lime to around 6 i think. but those are brand new pots just put them in yesterday, had them in cut out bottoms of pepsi bottles, no perlite though... would that do a big difference? but ill get the ph tested... just to be sure.

Take some fresh soil mix30% perilite, transplant them to bout a half inch below leaves and drop the lights to bout an in over there heads

What he said. The perlite helps with drainage. You want the soil to dry out in a timely manner. When the soil is dryer, the roots will expand to search for more water. Bigger roots=bigger plant=bigger buds.

i did a test with me plants, i put one i planted at the same time outside and left one inside and the outside one started growing nicely again, and its been dark and cloudy for since its outside... can it be something in the house like air quality, its in a dark room in the basement.

Anyone else have any advice? Can it be too much light? should i give it a longer dark period... http://growcannabis.com/how-to-grow-white-widow.html im doing pretty much everything right that they're saying on this site, im going to get my ph tested tomorrow... but i dont think its off, my dad produces the growing medium im using he said the Ph should be good around 6. Hopefully its the Ph so i can fix it, the only thing i dont get is why they grow nicely outside and turn to S**t when i put them under the lights... this is why i have a hard time believing that the soil is the problem. i really wanna know how to grow indoors so i can get some goin during the winter.

I would ditch the CFL"s and get either a hps or mh light they are alot more expensive but they will pay for themselves.one of my good friends was using cfl to veg with switched him over to HID and over doubled his yields. and I suggest you transplant your plants into something alot bigger to grow in. something about 5 gallons or bigger.the bigger the roots the bigger the plant
