So I'm on my first grow and I'm noticing that my plants are all getting bushy and stems are growing within nodes and main stem ...I'm assuming that this is lateral growth or secondary leaves as some call it ...I'm a little unsure wat part of my plants life this is supposed to happen can anyone help clarify what this indicates and is this a part of early or late vegg... or is this the transition into flower..I don't see any signs of sex whatsoever..

Those are side branches. If you top the main branch, the highest side branches become your new main branch(es).

I topped one and fimed the other both are starting to get bushy but the topped one more than fimed one ...so the reason I'm getting all these little side branches is because of topping and fimming my plants ....does it have anything to do with the stage of life its in ??

Yes. Topping/fimming will force the plant to grow OUT more instead of UP more... bushier.

It happens in veg.

My plants are in their dark period at this time but I will as soon as possible ...I germinated about 4 and a half weeks ago they are seeds that germinated from a fellow grower I know...I'm not sure of seed strain or traits but from wat I think I believe the topped and fimed plants are both indica dominate ...judging by wide leaf blades I havem under 8x23W cfl bulbs room temps exceed the 70-85°F range rarely humidity levels are normal I have 4 plants in total 2 in which were germinated before the last seed that Actually grew 2 sprouts ...one bigger than the other I don't expect much from the smaller sprout ...but it seems as if they all are growing smaller bushy stems my first 2 waaaay more that the other2
