hi, its my first time growing, i have two AK plants and they are not growing as fast as they did anymore, also a couple of the leaves are turning slightly yellow.

Its 2 weeks into the grow and they are about 8cm tall both of them, ive got a 250W CFL about 3 inches above them both are grown in soil, ive put a picture below.

Do you think they are doing ok? i expected them to be bigger after two weeks and what about the yellow leaves?

Are you giving them nutes yet? They look really stretched as pplayer said. Are you sure you have the right light for veg?

Ive started out by giving them HESI HYDRO Growth, in the right amounts, i took a ph test today and they were a bit high, 7.6 ish, the nutes are around a ph5 so ive added more of them to the feeding water to get the ph down to about 6.5.

Temperature i dont know but it is warm in there id say around 28-30 degrees.

I also started them out growing on one of those blue and red cheap led lights for the first week and they got to around the height they are now, then when i switched to cfl they seem to have stopped growing up and now are growing outwards - is this good?

Yea lower that ph cause I wouldn't say it was a "bit high" I would just say it was HIGH lol but uhm you can get a thermometer from walmart cheap ! Very good investment trust me ;-)... you shouldn't really use nutes till after two weeks but too each their own I say. You should put your cfls around 1-3 inches from those babies & a fan on them to strengthen those stems before they tip.. what kinda cfls you got on them & how many ?

Ah ok then i will sort that out, should i get ph up and down combo or is it ok to lower the ph by adding more nutes?
As for a fan, can you recommend a real quiet one? my landlord pays random visits to the house as its rented by students and at the moment my cupboard is silent - i think the fan noise might be a dead giveaway.
Ive got one 250W Blue spectrum CFL, seems a bit of an overkill really, it barely fits in the cupboard - its huge!
