I have two females in my shed that are in the 8th week of flowering, . These two females are the result of my 20 er so seeds that came from some indica. The 20 seeds germinated into seven. Those seven were planted and all came up. 2 were pulled for slow growth. 3 of the five remaining were mail, leaving my two lovely girls. They have been grown in soil. Vegetated under 4 30w 5100k cfl for 7 weeks recieving miracle grow all purpose weekly and 24 hours of light. Flowering under a 400w hps growlux. 4 weeks of miracle gro bloom, 2 weeks mad farmer moab and now day 10 of distilled water and unrefined sugar.
After i took my gilrs off the moab and started my rinse, i noticed my pistils r about 55 percent reddish amber, so i think im gonna harvest in a couple days. Turn out that the tops of all my buds starting having an alarming amount of growth and tons of new pistils are forming everywhere, making it like 40 percent amber hairs now. The tops of my buds look like the cartoon on the moab package and aren very dense but are filling in a little.
So my question is...is it normal to have a large growth spurt right at the end of flowering. Should i wait a little longer to harvest???
