GTs 2009 SoCal outdoor grow

lol.

hey GT im goin down to see JR at OCFS and pik up sum sprays and traps and shit since im assuming i shouldnt be spraying with my neem oil anymore?

Cool. Yea I wouldnt spray neem on the buds. It may leave an after taste. Besides the greenlight kills them dead the organic way too. Tell him I said hi and I will probably be down there too this weekend.

THe 3rd row last pic is what I had to cut off from JS 1 where the rot was still there:cry:. I trimmed them all up and cut off all the rot areas. THey are drying in that book box I riged up. Im going to need to set up a place to cure the bulk of the buds soon.

Also got some nice pics of the HJ in bondage. I dont think any mor branches will break at least not from bud weight.

Ok as promised but a day late, bud porn

Row 1: CC branch, CC bud, WC red/pink, WC red/pink, WC red/pink
Row 2: JS 3, JS 1, JS 1, JTR, JS 2
Row 3:JS 1, JS 2, WC red/pink, WC red/pink, JS 1 buds cut to hopefully prevent more rot
Row 4: all HJ, HJ tied up.

sorry for this lil hijack
couldn't help noticing your avatar BooMeR242
is this you in the pic?

you should post a warning before people lay their eyes on this
what exactly do you call this thing a bush, tree, a house?

... DAMN
that's all i have to say

ooh one more thing,
how are we; the regular people
suppose go back to grow our midgets now
shame on you! ;)

i barely have flowers and your on the home stretch.

looking great.

Just a few (3) should finish in the next couple of weeks. JS 1 (the one with all the rot problems) will be in week 9 next week. The other 2 are 1 week apart behind it so weeks 8 and 7. Most of the sativa dominants are about 2-3 weeks behind the JS group. I think they will finish in Oct. JS 1 is starting to turn slowly with the pistils starting to turn red. I checked the trichs and some (~15%) are amber. I should start flushing that one.

Plants are starting to stink the place up. My wife thinks there's a skunk outside, hehehe. Thats why I said I need to setup my area to cure the bulk. I think I will get a fan this weekend. THe ones I have are either old or noisy.

Looked like it was going to rain today but it was just heavy overcase all day except a couple of hours in the AM.

haha thanks SOG ya um i call them xmas trees

ya GT i thought it was supposed to rain at least thats wat i heard just got a lot of wind last nite thats it but def a big change in weatehr lately

I went to OCFS and got some Serenade to control the powery mildew/mold. As you can see its organic and is for use on fruits and vegies.

As Boomer said, its been really windy last night and today. I went outside to check the girls this afternoon and the HJ branch that snapped half way was completely hanging by the tie down I put on the other day. I guess I should have bandaged it better. Here is the trim from that branch. Its not ready yet but it still looks nice and smells good too. Cant wait for this one to ripen :bigjoint:

Weather up here this am is overcast with chance of rain, lol imagine all the rush to Home Depot, Costco and others.. think I'll head to the bar and order me drinks with those little umbrella's in them...:peace:

THat wind yesterday would have blown that popup over the fence. I was thinking about using one of those for the dew in the AM on my JS' since they are indica dom and are tending to get bud rot/mold. It was so humid yesterday Im suprised everything didnt get moldy. I may just need to get some of those nets like FDD has to keep the branches from twisting, snapping, or bending.

I welcomed the sun today. Nice easy breeze. Watered, fed and gave them sweets til Wed.

I started the flush on the JS 1. This coming week is week 9 in flower and its starting to turn a little.

No offense taken. I know you. Yea I thought it was going to rain and the humidity was very high for here in the AM. The wind made it less but reeked some havoc. :bigjoint::peace:

you'll be surprised, spend nights in front of the ocean in this thing
i also had the one piece that covers all around, so no wind enters the space
once you secure it to the ground with spikes and tie it down, it will stay there
first-up are pretty sturdy

you gotta stake it down. everything in my is staked down. even my tiki torches. :)

That cat is not staked down

Im gona go check out the carport at Costco tomorrow. I dont think they would fit under the 10 X 10. At least that way if we get a Santa Ana or just high winds it wont tear the plantation apart. As the plants put on weight they are gona need help holding those buds up and if there is any wind they will likely snap, bend or twist.

ya im kinda trippin now thinkin about the winds if they kik up, cali weather has been strange lately and dunno wat to expect but now im seeing buds form and theyre beginning to actually pull and weigh down the branches. wat else u using to stake them up or tie up?

not to be repetitive, the unit i mentioned earlier or something similar
can be used without the canopy as frame above to tie into:joint::peace:

THat would be perfect for you boomer since yours are close together. I dont know the center height but they should fit.
