Guerilla Self Watering and Feeding System

So I've been thinking a lot about different devices I could design to save myself a lot of time and energy. Packing water in would almost be out of the question, I'm hoping to have multiple patches of 5-10 ladies. From what I understand the rule of thumb for watering is one gallon per plant, per day. So for an entire season you're looking at maybe 2,000-3,000 gallons of water in total. So here's the idea.

The basis of the system would rely on a reservoir 8'x8'x4' stored at a slight elevation. With these dimensions it could store approximately 1,000 gal. The elevation would create natural water pressure to fill a secondary vacuum tank. I would fill this reservoir using a nearby creek or stream. This part would be unavoidable but I can avoid making frequent trips and making trails. Also, I can put distance between my patch and the creek as I hear choppers like to follow creeks and streams for just that purpose.

The second part would work like the new aqua globes which operate under a vacuum. The water would be stored in a sealed bucket with a main hose connected to multiple feeder lines going to the different plants. The plants would use only the water they need precisely. I wanted to take this principle a step further. A toilet tank refill valve would be used to maintain the water level in the bucket. The vacuum would be maintained at all times because of how the valve operates. The bucket vacuum will also help to draw water in from the main reservoir. This could then be taken a step even further and combined with the plant nutrients for the full package.

I'm still new to guerilla farming but I'm trying to make as much preperation as I can before I get started. I figure, if I can work the bugs out of the system I would only have to go to check the progress, and not to do heavy work. If anyone is interested I could post drawings with more detail and more explanation. So yea, I hope my idea helps some people but feedback is always appreciated.

why not just grow indoors....save a lot of money and work, and slim chance getting caught
Sorry man, you're going to have to explain to me how growing indoors will do these things. For one, ballasts cost about $200 a piece and then bulbs are about $30. Also, the yields will not be as good as what you could get outdoors per plant. I'd love to be able to do it indoors, but then I'd have to have a big enough place to do it all. As far as getting caught goes, it would be hard to claim ignorance of a grow op in your basement. At least if someone finds an outdoor plot it would be harder to connect it to you. Hell, whatever would be cheaper I'm all about it.

Nah, there is nothing like growing in the great outdoors. And I think the odds of getting caught growing outdoors are much less then indoors. Especially if you have a setup like the OP is talking about and you only have to visit your garden once a month. If you know what your doing you get much more out of it for the work then you put in. Just my 2 cents though, I'm sure some may disagree...
