Guerrila growing and "The drive back carrying 20 pounds of weed" problem. Any advice?

Hey dudes, iv been growing in my backyard for 3 years now and had some preety good results. Overall, my harvest incresed evrey year wich means I am learning...but this year im taking it a step further. Due to the fact that I moved to inner city Montreal, guerrila growing is my only option.

Im extremly exited. I even have trouble sleeping at night somtimes. Since Im going deep in the woods this year, im also going to go a little bigger in terms of the number of plants that ill have... its either 10 plants that im gonna LST or 30 plants that im gonna top...im guessing that both will harvest around the same amount...

Anyways heres the problem... im not even sure I wanna do this due to the 3 hour drive that id have to take carrying the 10 to 20 pounds of weed from my spot to my drying cab...lol. A hole year of supply or nothing at all comes down to the decision of taking this drive or not.

I mean, I cant be the only one who was concerned about this... Im probably gonna do the grow anyways, but I was wondering how you guys have dealt with this??

Is the answer simply to... grow some balls... do a very good vehicul check up in order to not get pulled over for sum stupid like a dead braking light... drive carfully and hope to not be a "random selected candidate" for a police check-up...??

Carrying that much weed will probably give me a heart attack just by seeing a cop lol... sould i do this drive at like 2am or somthing?? or is that even more suspicious??

drive in peak hours, 5 miles over the speed limit. cops looking for big drug bust scores (in the states at least) look for people being very cautious, like driving really slowly at 2am. the best way to avoid detection, is to do nothing out of the ordinary.

I would say best time to drive 20 lbs of weed back into the city would be either in the morning while everyone is driving to work, or in the evening when everyone is coming home. The more cars on the road the better, dont stand out being the only car out at 2 am. Good point about the speed limit dont drive to slow and dont drive to fast, dont do anything unsafe or recklace. Just sit back turn on the radio on make sure theres no smell and theres nothing to worry about! Smell is the name of the game! "Just driving home from work officer is there a problem!"

and if your supppperrrrr paranoid have a buddy infront of you as a bait car, have him drive like a maniac to draw attention if there is ever a problem!

i live in BC and i can help you with this... its a problem i had a while back.

the easiest thing to do is fill yout truck / car up with Garbage cans or Boxes. like your moving a HUGE load of garbage, or just moving.

Garbage is the easiest route. it allows you to pack 20~ gallon garbage cans, this is vital. you will need the garbage cans, garbage bags and Duct tape.

Put the weed in garbage bags, inside the garbage cans and Duct tape them closed. put them all in the back and just go. if anything happens, jsut tell them the freezer dethawed and you had to clean it out, the garbage cans smell like death because it was rotting in the freezer for like a week untill you noticed.

NO cop will touch those garbage cans. i guarantee it.

P.S: i moved around 60 LBS of weed into Kelowna for a friend this way way back in the day. ever since then, i've never looked back.

What I do is I take garbage bags full of cans with me(I always do that with recyle cans for a few bucks anyway) then just put the weed bags with them. Just a little decoy, but Ive never needed it(and hopefully never will). You should be fine, just drive normal definitely don't smoke in the car(no brainer) and there should be no problems. I would do it around 7 or 8 am when a lot of people are up and going to work. Sometimes I take it in two loads because getting busted with everything would suck. Wear your seat belt!

I think you might need to trim/dry on sight and package air tight. How long you think it would take you to trim that much ? lol

get you some glad garbage bags the scented kind, i had about 2 plants worth of trim in one and you couldn't smell anything on the outside but once you untied it it would stink up the whole house.

The busyest times are best.

Either way if the police are going to stop you they are most likley going to search you or the car and find it.

Our natural instinct is to hide it and we will be doing that to our best its just luck.You wont get cought lol

Pack your weed in 5 gallon home depot buckets with lids on them, wipe the outside down then place them in your vehicle with drop clothe, paint brushes,rollers etc.
Change your clothes and wash your hands good before getting in your car (place your clothes in one bucket)
If you are pulled over you are a painter coming/going to work!

Go to harbor freight tools (or cheap place), purchase two tire irons . When the time comes, break the bead on a spare tire or two, put the weed in the tire/'s pop the bead back in place, toss the cheap tire tools in the weeds and drive home.

I remember listening to the police scanner one night, and the dispatcher says " ok guys, its after 11:00 pm so any vehicles you see are probably either drunk drivers or drivers on there way to get drunk".

If you think about it, there are many hiding places in a car that would require a search warant, and a lot of effort (cops dont like to work anymore than criminals do)!

Dude ... all that advice up there is going to get you busted. Here is how you do it:

Compress (use a car jack and home made press) and plastic wrap up all the weed into bricks. Do not leave finger prints on the plastic. Wrap each brick in heavy layers of aluminum foil.

Get some carburator cleaner and spray down the foil wrapped bricks - this gets rid of all the odors.

Hide the bricks under the backseats of your car. Open the hood of your car and use some wire cutters to do some inexpensive damage to the starter, like cut out some copper wires or something.

Call a towing company to have tha car towed to a repair shop, and pay somebody to replace the cut wires, then drive the car home.

If you get caught, do not tell the cops anything. Let your lawyer make the argument that either the tow truck driver or the car mechanic stashed the bricks in your car. If you can afford it, have the tow truck driver haul your car all the way home.

Another way to do it is buy an old car that doesn't run, stash the weed in the car, and have the hooptie hauled to your house. Imagine your surprise when you discover all the weed hidden under the back seat!!! Sell the hooptie after you remove your pot.

I think your getting a little ahead of yourself, long way to go yet and i highly doubt you will get 20lb bro from 10 plants first guerilla grow, in fact ill bet on it. Just worry about not getting ripped off, tell no one and hide the car while you tend to them, have several different locations.

If you do happen to harvest that much it would be 80-90 pound wet, use a doona/quilt cover to carry to car. no concern with cops if you drive speed limit with seat belt on etc, believe me the trip home is a great feeling(with the back full of buds) and the least of your worries, worry more about being ripped off. Best time to drive home is just as the suns gone down.

Woah, lol I guess you could go with something a little more extravagant like what Bud Grauer said. I personally believe that no matter how good you hide it, if the cops stop you... they are probably going to find it. The trick is to just not give them a reason too. And if they do find it... no real point in trying to blame it on the tow truck driver. I mean I guess it wouldn't hurt but I doubt it would help you anyway. Treat it like a normal car ride.

Yea no bricking lol unless your growing schwag lol and if that's the case it's almost not even worth the risk

But as far as advice goes like most people are sayingbi would drive in morning or evening when everyone is going or leaving work. The bait car idea is good too if you wanna be extra careful, the only downfall is whoever does it will probably want a cut of the action. The more cars on the road the better don't stand out. And don't sample any product while driving, if they smell it even burnt your gonna have problems. If you need to calm the nerves just light up before and away from your car. But all in all just drive like a safe normal driver and you should be fine assuming there is no flaws with the car or registration etc

As an extra added touch of realism, you could let a few frying hens start to rot in a cooler, and open the cooler (in the truck bed) for the drive home for added insurance that once they get a whiff, they will not fuck with you. NO cop wants to dig thru rotting meat!!!
