Guess what i got today!!

Recently my mom and some family members took a trip to Mexico Oaxaca to a shroom resort.... i sadly couldnt go myself. They ended up buying some weed over there and they saved me some seeds!!!!!!! not going to put anyone on blast lets just say they made their way to me... this seeds are HUGE almost 3x as big as a regular seed. Im 100% sure its some Highland Oaxacan Gold!!!!! This is my first pure landrace sativa ill be growing i cant wait!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

no i wont be showing anyone growing anything for those interested in seeing how they grow, i will however show some nugporn

shit my seeds didnt sprout the shell seemed to be wayy too hard... what a bummer. i replaced them with some twisted velvet from in house genetics... might as well take advantage of the cold for some nice purp hunting.

@Sunny Organics Did you drop them in water? Did you try scuffing them with a fine grit sandpaper? Maybe store them for awhile and try again?

Don't give up on those, could have something really nice.

You can manually crack the shells if you are careful. I have done it many times and got seeds to finally take off after days of no action.
Just carefully pinch the pointy end of the seed until the two shells separate just slightly and that should be enough to let the embryo push its way out.
I've been having to do it a lot lately on some fairly fresh outdoor seeds I made.
I usually do paper towel method and if no sprouts in 2-3 days or split shells I will do it manually. At that point I also re-sterilize the seed in a little h202 water and change to fresh paper towel to avoid any bad bacteria, once the shell is split i usually see tails on everything within 24hours

i have yet to try that thanks for the tips. i germinated everything correctly cause i had some other seeds in there with them and those did pop, they were bad seeds overall the shell turned black. they were goners for sure i tried pressing them with my finger and the shell seemed super hard to crack. poor sprouts didnt stand a chance... i have some more that i can try theyre sturdy bitches...
