Guidance for first grow needed!

Hi!
I brought my first grow plant from outdoors and wanted to flower it indoors.
I havent had money before to get all needed equipment but now I'm making an
investment to get more light in the room. This what I have so far:

-4 cfl 40w 2700k Bulbs hanging, and some aluminum foil
-nutrients: Bio Bizz bloom, bio bizz grow and some magnesium.
-10 liter pot with soil
-fan

Humidity has been a problem, was between 75-80% but got it dropped to 60-65%
Air is cool and flow is basic.

Plant: 2 meter Afghani, started flowering 2 weeks ago. I know, way too tall but was too beautiful for not to try So far so good but some
leaves edges curling down and hanging. At the bottom some fan leaves start to get yellow
and dry edges. It survived 2 weeks before just with 3 x 40w but now its time to make the lady bloom.

I was thinking to invest for 2 x 125w cfls 2700k and 4600k to get the full light spectrum.
Some mylar to sides because now too much light is getting wasted.
Any suggestions? I live in Finland so its not that cheap to get the equipment but
have money to invest about 200 Dollars.

Appreciate the help, in Finland the medicine is very much needed! And some potential for a christmas tree

Bump up on cfls quantity more than wattage, that way you can place them tightly all around the plant. With that kind of height you will need cfls around the sides. You will have some yellowing and maybe leaf drop as it adjusts to indoor lighting. Emergency blankets make good reflective material and are cheap. Watering will be less frequent, try not to drowned her.

You could go with HID lighting 250-400w but then you have heat issues from the fixture. Need to evacuate the heat from the HID lighting and that costs money and will probably move you over budget.

Many growers have used cfls successfully for one or two plants. Key is to have a bunch of bulbs placed all around the plant within a couple inches or less. Good luck.

if you are making an investment, save for longer and get a HPS or something more powerful and efficient than CFL's.

ok foreign country and no money, stay with as many cfl's as you can get and keep that soil hydrated.

Thanks for advice. I ordered 6 more CFLs, should be enough light.
Should I be worried to use only one power outlet for 10cfls and a fan? 400w total going trough one wire and 3 extension cords, I hope
its not gonna blow a fuse.

Using 3 extension cords concerns me. You say.. Going through one wire.... What do you mean by this? One outlet??

400 watt's total plugged into one outlet is fine. The issue would be what the electricity is traveling through to get to the 400 watt load. An electrical fire would ruin your world!

Sry my English... Theres one long wire going from outlet to one extension cord what I use for the fan and the timer. From timer theres one extension
cord for lights. So theres not enough spots in the second cord for the six more lamps. So should I get one more wire for the
lamps or just get one wire with more spots or does it even matter? Sorry I suck at this
The wire with many spots for plugging lamps is called extension cord right?

The wire you are referring to is called a surge protector or power strip. Feel the cord connected to the timer. If it's not warm and none of the other cords are warm you should be fine.

Your electric should be fine. Use 15amp extension cord, power strip, timer etc. Get rid of the aluminum foil and replace it with mylar, use the emergency sheet if need be. Using more 23w CFLs is better than using just a few 125w CFLs. Using all 2700k bulbs is not ideal, you should use one 5700k for every two 2700k. The plants need a balanced spectrum, but leaning more toward the yellow-orange. GOOD LUCK!

I agree with the advice above on electric. Make sure your cords are not hot, bump up to thicker gauge extension cords is always a good idea if this is going to be your setup for a while.

But, yes, you should be fine with the amount of draw your equipment is pulling from the wall outlet. If you trip the fuse, then split up the load and run to another outlet (or) use thicker gauge extension cord.

Gotcha!!!! Just make sure the cord/power strip closest to the wall outlet can handle the load. Make sure that the cords are not laying on combustibles such as carpet.
