hey guys,

my plants are in 4th flower week and, one more than other, had started presenting a lot of yellow leaves, which were spreading quite fast. I've suspected it was nitrogen defficiency and did a extraordinary watering plus an 1 inch cover of wormcast. it was 2 days ago and appearently worked since yellowing leaves stopped developing. today i've defoliated it a bit to make light reaches bottom flowers.
im using a wide used NPK brazilian organic fertilizer plus perlite, wormcast, coconut fiber and carolina soil on 4 gallons pots.

do you think they might be still hungry? im following the fertilizer's recommended dosis... i also tested its ph when prepared and got a 5,8, might i try to increase a little? how can a i do that organicly?

besides the yellow leaves, they seem growing and developing well, flowers seem to get really nice.

the photos are from two days ago.

I can see the symptoms from the over feeding, I’d get rid of all the yellow leaves, and watch the ones that were starting to turn. See if it progresses in a + or - manner.
I ran into a similar issue.. minus the over feeding. I had stopped top dressing veg food.. I top dressed with a 1/3 dose of veg formula from dr earth and hit it with some Fish shit for a few days. things got better about 8-10 days later.
Let others chime in tho as I was only dealing with the yellowing.

Good afternoon eryone, need a Little help. My lower leaves seem to droop and then turn black, (1 at a time) while the rest of my plant seems totally healthy.plant is 7 wks old. Ffof soil, ffof marine crusine for a top dressing once a week. Strain is golden dragon 3rd version from ace seeds. I looked at the chart on page one to see if anything fit but i dont see any that do. Thanks in advance for any help.

Hello dear community,

I have a flowering plant which developed orangeish dots scattered over the main fan leaves.

I watered it everyday with six hours direct sunlight on the balcony.

I suppose the daily watering did something to it. Have a look if possible

that very much looks like classic calcium deficiency.
Tell us what kind of medium you're growing in, and what you're feeding it, if anything.

I am growing it in just plain normal grocery store soil.
I havent been feeding it for three -4 weeks that's when I fed it a few days In A row giving it daily it's water plenty of water. Because it was extremely hot and dry in mea area.

Now I lowered the watering and hope it gets better, also today I received biobizz calmag and put some of it in the water

You don't want to water or feed a plant every day in soil. You have to let it get fairly dry between waterings, so the roots have a chance to get some air.
The usual practice in regular, non "built" soil is to feed once, then water twice before you feed again. If that doesn't seem to be enough, you can bump it up to every other time. For a quick dose of calcium, you can put a ML or two of calmag in a quart of water and spray the plant with it, but i don't recommend that on a regular basis.

Spraying the leaves and the buds?
I put it in water and watered the soil with it.

Not sure if anyone is still here on this thread.. but I thought I might give it a try.. I have 2 plants right now doing great until a few days ago I’ve noticed some burns / deficiencies/ pest problems ???? These are a cement shoes bx from universally seeded and both plants have had these burnt looking , sick leaves .. anyone familiar ? Thank you brother. I’ve noticed leaf hoppers around here and there. The pretty looking blue and red ones. I swap them off and they come right back…. ( edit ) I researched and seen those aren’t of the same species… will do a spray down and prune damaged leafs until noticed change.. thank you again.

Hi guys, im growing three autos from RQS (fat banana) and one critical orange punch from Dutchpassion. Indoor, organic soil (wormcast, biokashi, dolomitic calcarium etc) with leds 3500k. They are in week 4/5, starting to show some pre-flowers.

Two days ago I've notice some light gray (almost silver) little spots on 2 or 3 leaves of one of the plants. I've first thought its was due to some pest (I was thinking on thrips), and applied some neem oil in all of them (it was yesterday). Anyway, I haven't be able to spot any insect or eggs...

Today, when I woke up, I've notice that all four of them are now with a several beige (light brown) spots, with no defined size and shape. Two of them have lower leaves curling up too. It got spread really fast (one night) and now are affecting several leaves, appearing to be calmag. Once I haven't still feed with nutes (only the supersoil ones).

Does calmag def spread that fast? Should I've start applying my fertilizer asap (an ordinary organic one that is quite used here in Brazil)??
Last three days were really hot and humid too. Today It's a little bit cold. The temperature is not that stable... Idk if it might influence...

Until this situation shows up they were developing really healthy and bushy. Now they appear to be squishy, the leaves seem a little floppy and not that firm.

Thrips are pretty small. Did you check your plants with a jewelers loupe, or any other type of magnification? Do you have any yellow and/or blue sticky traps? I can see by the leaves why you would think you might have a thrips problem, but what I'm curious of is how carefully did you look for evidence of their possible presence?
