hey gumball great reading and great grow. very impressed. how you get so many plants in there. awesome. my family is from kentucky and there they hang the tobacco upside down in big barns. kinda confused. but they dont cut it fromn the stalks. is that what you mean? thanks gumball
Yes hammer. Tobacco curing is actually a very good example.
I would bet tobacco is cured in many different ways. Your family was doing what was best for their setup I am sure. I would think tobacco used in different means would maybe have different curing to get the end result (dip, snuf, cigars, ciggerates, chew, etc.) Thit is how I was finding folks do it and it seemed similar to riddlemes technique. Either I read it elsewhere, or maybe it was posted by riddleme. But I remember reading that curing like this started when ships were heavily used for transport and they would stack the tobacco on the trip and move it frequently to prevent mold/mildew. It was found that there was better tastes from these products. But you know, these days I sometimes cant tell the difference between dream and reality
, harvest aside
So I guess them leaving all the leaves on the stalk it would fall over itself and cover itself creating a similar effect inside the outer leaves, maybe... I am shooting here you know LOL LOL LOL
i was trippin or drunk when i posted that... lol.. you all good gb?
Thats cool bro, I got a laugh out of it!!!
Nice Harvest bro. Some interesting stuff I must say. Thanks for sharing. sns

That does seem to happen a lot now that you mention it.... Smelly was famous for that!!!
You ever notice how people starting perpetual grows stop posting so much once they are perpetual? haha
That Super Skunk pheno is not particularly helpful for much besides relaxing on a couch.

TOO FUNNY!!!
Whats even funnier is y'all al know I've been around, I've still been liking a lot of y'all folks posts, y'all are doing great stuff, and I dont want to miss it
Well I have been busy. Had some more family come by and watched our baby nephew one night, it was fun
Got some new personal cell phones (all the other drama was my work phone, lol) so got to figure out how to surf this joint with it
And I have been trying to spend some time with the fam at the house too.
Well I only have a few pic's of the outdoor reveg's. Looks almost japanese maple'ish
I will try and do a bud update tomorrow, or a video at least.

Now the bad news. I have PM. It only appears to be in my veg box so I am only going into my flower box after I mess with the veg box to try not to contaminait the bud box. Must have been from the bushy plants when I let 'em go to long without cutting because the humidity doesnt get over 35+/- and temps are 65 lights off-81 lights on. My op is in my house, so sulfur burner is out. I am going to try home remedies for this, 2 step treatment. I first pulled everything out of the case, and sprayed it down with baking soda, dish soap, and water, everything, intakes outside the case. Then I sprayed the plants and pots and let them sit for about 4 hours. I sprayed them off because I read that the sodium could be harmful if left too long. I also let the case bake for these 2 hours with an added 26 watt cfl (boosting watts from 52 total to 7
and no fans. It got to about 100 in there for those few hours. I left the light to help keep environment in check and installed a heat shield so the plants dont commit suicide
Then on the 2 nights later I sprayed them down with milk, water, and dish soap. I saturated them, let 'em sit an hour and saturated them again. I left this solution on (it was last night) and will spray this again tomorrow night and again every other night or so for a little while. One week from the baking soda spray solution I will reapply that spray so I wont spray the night before or after. I will try to follow this regime for a little while. It appears to only be a couple leaves, and only the royal kush. the TNR doesnt seem affected. I have known this was a resilient fucking strain. Because of that I am gonna try and send some clones as early christmas gifts once I get this PM gone for good and I cover all my bases. I am hoping this helps. The spots I am using to check seemed to be smaller this morning after lasts nights spray. We will see.
The flower room is doing good. Got a couple defs and a little nute burn on the 12/12 from seed, which has a lot of plant in a small package, very pleased with this 12/12 from seed. The royal kush will probably finish this weekend, 4 of the clones. The TNR will probably take another 1-2 weeks, as will the TNR clones. Because of the PM, I cannot consciously place any clones into flower. So I will pop another seed or 2 directly into 12/12 once the first batch of clones come out, and another with the TNR and 12/12 from seed. by then I hope to be able to add a clone too. I still have the midget clones in flower too, but they are really a waste of time. I think it is because I topped them once I put them into flower instead of super cropping like I did the other ones. I will do some side by side comparisons next time, but I think super cropping is the way to go because my super cropped royal kush clones are twice the size of the non super cropped.
Preliminary smoke report. I have probably smoked about 5 grams since harvest of both. I ended up with 28 grams of LS and SS together, I'm happy
The LS has a slight taste of the lemon, but it has the hay smell still unless you break it or grind it, then it is potent lemon smell
The high is souring, with tingles at the base of my neck (that or my recent medical problems are spreading into even more weird areas). It is a very functional high, yet you get a slight stoned feeling and can bust out laughing at everything
I am using it slowly to see how the cure will effect it in time.
The SS is great. The taste is, well, I dont know, but its good. The smell has remained throughout the dry (fermentation box) and cure, which tells me the box worked better on this harvest, probably because there was more bud to make it work. The bud has great bag appeal, but I am the only one who will see it and it wont go in a bag anyhow,
The high is different. OH, caveat, my dumbass just realized today I cant tell time. I am counting to the start of the week. So I fucked up and harvested before week 8 was up, and I think that means the LS was harvested way early. I think they may both pull through the reveg though so I will get another chance to try again. SO back the the high, it is somewhat couch lock, but still energetic, like restless leg syndrome
I have really been enjoying and it in the vape is great. To the all powerful seed fairy or gnome out there, thank you so much for your contributions to my garden, it would not be the place it is today without you
The wifey aint smoking right now so I dont have any unbiased opinions to give, but I am sure she wont be able to watch me smoke a free ounce without asking for a toke!!!
WOOO thats a lot folks. Hope someone read it...
I am glad to have all y'all great folks hanging round still, it is a pleasure to share my garden and this piece of my life with y'all.
Peace friends
