im guessing it was a mistake/mishandled firearm and the officer is devastated. obviously that doesnt make the situation any better. just a tragedy any way you look at it. maybe they need to practice having their safties on until just before discharge, i dunno.

Police as a system is terrible. Officers individually are not bad or good, or whatever you want. They're people. Just being misled and allowing the system to fuck 'em. So if we didn't have a police force, i think we'd be way better off. But there's a lot of things i think, and nobody'll ever agree
